As he begins the final day of a high-stakes international tour, Biden meets with Ukrainian leaders in Poland.

Poland's capital is Warsaw. (CNN)President Joe Biden met with Ukrainian officials in Warsaw, Poland, on Saturday, as part of a last-minute tour to Europe aimed at coordinating how Western allies will respond to Russia's aggression and assuring states that the US stands by them. The focus of Biden's trip to Europe has been solely on the war. However, Biden's meetings with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov were the first face-to-face meetings he had with Ukrainian officials during his tour. Kuleba began the discussion by recounting an exhausting travel from Kyiv to Warsaw that involved a train ride and three hours in a car. "It's like taking a flight from Kyiv to Washington with a stopover in Istanbul," Kuleba explained. "The good news is that I've learnt to sleep in any situation since the beginning of the war. As a result, I slept on the train and in the automobile." Hearing how the pastors had traveled, Bid...

To remove the Kremlin's control, Biden and the EU agree a historic gas accord.

Image
Joe Biden has reached a historic agreement with the EU on energy supplies, in which the US will enhance transatlantic gas deliveries in the hopes of reducing the Kremlin's dominance based on its natural resources.  The US president claimed Vladimir Putin used Russia's status  as Europe's principal gas supplier to "coerce and  manipulate his neighbors" and that the earnings of gas and oil sales "fuel his war machine" during the invasion of Ukraine , speaking in Brussels after the agreement was reached on Friday. He claimed that the EU-Russia alliance will deprive Putin of this weapon by terminating Europe's reliance on Russian energy by the end of the decade. In order to meet climate goals, the ideas also aim to reduce Europe's overall gas usage by focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy. Last year, Russia supplied over 155 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas to Europe, accounting for roughly 40% of the continent's consumption. The E...

The United States and the European Union have formed a joint task force to reduce Europe's reliance on Russian gas.

Image
President Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced in Brussels on Friday that the United States and the European Union will form a joint task force to help Europe wean itself off Russian gas. Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Biden, uses energy to "coerce and control his neighbors," and proceeds from its sale are used to "fuel his war machine." It's not just "the correct thing to do from a moral sense," he said, but it'll also "place us on a stronger strategic footing." The task force will "work to ensure energy security for Ukraine and the EU in preparation for next winter and the next, while supporting the EU's goal of ending its reliance on Russian fossil fuels," according to a statement released by the White House. As part of the proposal, the United States and other countries would increase liquefied natural gas exports to Europe by 15 billion cubic meters this year. Even larg...

Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, has tested positive for Covid-19.

Image
(CNN)White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Tuesday that she had tested positive for Covid-19. The news of her positive diagnosis arrives only hours before President Joe Biden's travel to Brussels and Warsaw. Early Tuesday afternoon, Psaki, 43, verified the news. "I did a PCR test this morning in preparation for a trip to Europe. That test came back positive, so I'll be following the CDC's advice and won't be joining the President on his trip to Europe "On Twitter, Psaki stated. "I had two socially separated encounters with the President yesterday, and according to CDC guidelines, he is not a close contact. Out of an abundance of honesty, I'm sharing the news of my positive test today. The President's PCR test came back negative today." Psaki's most recent positive test occurred on the eve of his most recent international travel in October. This is a breaking story .

In the El Clasico, will Real Madrid wear black against Barcelona

Image
Real Madrid's home games are traditionally played in their trademark white jerseys. In an ironic twist, Real Madrid will play FC Barcelona in black jerseys in the El Clasico. The cause for this is explained by SPOX. Aside from the innumerable victories, the club colors red and blue spring to mind when thinking of FC Barcelona, which are akin to the constant adversary Real Madrid, which is connected with the color white. The significance of these colors to the club is reflected in their jerseys, which have been in these colors since the club's inception. There will be no red-blue rivalry next Sunday, March 20, when the two top clubs meet in El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu (Madrid) at 9 p.m. Although Real Madrid prefers to play in white at home, that is not the case in today's Spanish Primera Division matchday 29. The cause for this is explained below by SPOX. Real Madrid will wear black jerseys against FC Barcelona in today's El Clasico. Instead of the typical white ...

Arnold Schwarzenegger " I'd Like to Send a Message to My Russian Friends The Russian people's courage and bravery have always impressed me. As a result, I hope you will allow me to tell you the truth about the Ukrainian conflict ".

Image
I have a message for my Russian friends and Russian soldiers serving in Ukraine: There are horrible things going on in the globe that you should know about. But first, let me tell you about the Russian who became my hero before I tell you about the hard facts." I had the opportunity to attend the World Weightlifting Championships in Vienna in 1961 when I was 14 years old. Yury Petrovich Vlasov won the world championship by lifting 200 kg above his head for the first time. A friend of mine managed to get me backstage. Suddenly, a 14-year-old boy was standing in front of the world's strongest man. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He extended his hand to shake mine. I still had a boy's hand on my shoulder. He was holding the hand of a powerful guy who had eaten mine, but he was nice. And he gave me a friendly smile. That was a day I'll never forget. I returned home and hung his picture over my bed. It motivated me to begin doing weights, but it enraged my fathe...

Gas prices are the newest difficulty for Biden's administration,' as the midterm elections approach.

Image
A green energy revolution is being pushed by the left. The right is yelling "Drill, baby, drill" as a battle cry. And voters in the United States are fed up with political justifications. Rising gas costs have given Joe Biden a new worry this election season. Republicans charge him of promoting a "radical anti-US energy agenda." Democrats blamed greedy oil firms and Russian President Vladimir Putin's aggression against Ukraine. While others believe that adversity brings opportunity, consumers are feeling the pinch in the latest thorny issue for a US president who, after 14 months in office, appears to be unable to catch a break. "Biden has a cursed presidency," said Larry Jacobs, head of the University of Minnesota's Center for the Study of Politics and Governance. "He's been nailed by the continuation of Covid, out-of-control inflation, a crazed Russian leader, and now increasing energy prices that are striking voters in the wallet....
