Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris's husband, shares her love of country music.

Maren Morris is a country music sensation with a slew of Grammys, five (soon to be six) studio albums, and a cute 2-year-old son. Her third album, "Hero," became a commercial hit after it pushed beyond the typical country music sound and merged country with R&B. Who is Maren's husband, in addition to her amazing accomplishments?

Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris's spouse, is who?

According to Us Weekly, Maren and Ryan met in a scenario that could have been straight out of a country song. Ryan, 35, is a songwriter who has penned singles for Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, and Tim McGraw, among others. He and Maren were writing the song "Last Turn Home" in 2013 when sparks flew.

In 2019, Maren told Us Weekly, "[Ryan's] always been a creative collaborator in my life, and that's how we met." "Six years ago, we were partnered together to write a song. We didn't know each other at the time, and it just blossomed from there, so music has always been a big part of our love for each other, and now that we're more than just songwriters, we're now musicians.

Ryan and Maren were acquaintances for two years before becoming romantically involved, as Ryan details in his song "Love in a Bar." Ryan proposed in July 2017, and the couple married in August. Maren attributes their relationship to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban; like Nicole and Keith, Maren and Ryan usually tour separately, and their schedules don't always coincide.

Maren and Ryan have a son together.

Maren and Ryan became first-time parents in 2020 when their son Hayes Andrew was born. Maren has been vocal about her experience as a first-time mom on social media, defending both her post-baby physique and, more recently, her 2019 Playboy picture.

"Before I head into the next record era, I did Playboy in 2019 and got a lot of criticism at the time, but I'm the happiest that I presented country female sexuality in its realist form here," Maren said in the caption of a photo on her Instagram profile that received unwanted attention from critics. We're nuanced, messy, and stretch-marked in the best manner possible. Don't take us for granted. We present your story in the most uncompromising, beautiful way possible. "Keep it in mind."

Maren shared her son's vision journey on Twitter, saying she "feels bad" that he inherited her "poor eyesight." "Hayes had to get glasses today, and he looks so cute, but I also feel terrible that I passed," Maren writes.

"Hayes needed glasses today, so the whole family is wearing false frames (I have lasik) to encourage him to keep them on," she wrote. "So far, it's not working." Hayes turned two on March 20, 2022, and he's getting cuter by the year! Maybe he'll be creating country tunes with his folks one day.
